Gayle Frazzetta, MD, FAAFP, CCD is board certified in family medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. She has additional specialty training in hormone optimization and osteoporosis management and is a certified clinical densitometrist. She is in solo practice in rural Colorado for over 25 years having practiced full scope family medicine, including obstetrics. She has interest in health and wellness with expert knowledge in nutrition, having graduated with honors in nutritional sciences from Cornell University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Frazzetta has earned a number of awards and honors. In 2025 she was presented with the Colorado Academy of Family Practice Physician of the Year award. She also earned the Copic 2019 Colorado Humanitarian of the Year award, recognizing her volunteer medical services and lasting contributions to the community. These prestigious awards recognize only one physician from all of Colorado annually.
Dr. Frazzetta is highly involved in her community and prides herself on being an educator and advocate of women’s health. She has also volunteered in many capacities locally, regionally and globally. She has completed a research project studying the impact of testosterone pellet therapy on bone mineral density in postmenopausal women. She works to empower patients to care for themselves through education and cooperative decision-making. As a family medicine trained physician she is uniquely poised to treat the whole patient.
